Turning Over A Stained Glass Window

It’s easier than it seems.

TURN IT OVER
Turning your window over can be tricky. You want to make sure you don’t bend the window, or you can break the glass.

STEP ONE

A simple way to turn over the window is to slide it toward you over the edge of your table HALF WAY.

STEP TWO

Tip the window up using the edge of the table as a brace.

STEP THREE

The window becomes vertical.

STEP FOUR

Lift the window, while still holding it vertical, and turn it around.

Reverse the process to lay it back down on the table. Use the table for support.


Build the window on a strong board (1″ plywood) on top of your table if it’s a VERY LARGE window:
